Hillah (she/her) is a Theatre Director, a performer, a poet, and a photographer, Originally from Tel Aviv Israel, and now based in London. Hillah is interested in multidisciplinary theatre, which invites the audience more to an experience than to a show. She believes the role of theatre is to share and celebrate the beauty and ugliness of human flaws. For Hillah, the essence of theatre is to tell stories of the unrepresentative voice, for example, the female voice and gaze.

Credits

2016- Writer of poetry book “Lest I Choke” as part of the Niv book collective, which was awarded the “Snapir Prize for Poetry”.
2016- Director, Photographer and curator of the “Lest I Choke” art exhibition at Susie gallery
2017- Curator of the “boyz will be boyz” photography exhibition at Prince Gallery and designed a collection of bags inspired by the exhibition.

2018 Creator of a post-dramatic theatre production titled “Collapsing within Me” inspired by the book “Until the morning” by Hila Lahav - Seminar H'Kibbutzim Art college Tel Aviv
2019- Director Antigone by Jean Anouilh - Seminar H'Kibbutzim Art college Tel Aviv
2020- Director of “And I Can’t Change it” at the Independent Theatre. (Shortlisted for the theater award “The Golden Hedgehog” and winner of best acting awards)
2020- Writer of poetry book “Growing Pains”.
2022- Co-Creator of the show "POP POP POP TILL YOU STOP" at Camden People's Theatre
