Theatre-maker Producer Writer Performer Performance Artist

I’m an Italian-Australian theatre-maker and TV producer based in London. I worked a few years in experimental theatre and physical theatre with devising companies including Station House Theatre, Dash Arts, Az Theatre, and Teatro Vivo. I am currently developing my first solo show, an exploration of communist female artists who were censored and silenced during the 1970s and of the symbolism of rape over the ages.
Alongside I produce TV documentaries about world class artists and cultural figures for BBC World - highlights include a day in the life of five Afghan female filmmakers filmed shortly before the fall of Kabul in 2021 and a 25-minute documentary about Peter Brook. I am passionate about literature and philosophy of dissent and subversion, police violence, the death of 20th century political idealisms and how this is reflected in art. Aesthetically I am particularly interested in politically conscious theatre that stretches the limits of what we understand as theatre and site-specific work in non-theatrical spaces and in public space.
