I am a visual artist, director, and theatre-maker. My practice combines directing and scenography that set dramaturgical elements in visual scenarios, encompassing objects, sculptures, sounds, and bodies to unveil their hidden dialogue. My work is strongly inspired by theories of representations in art, architecture, and costume and their relation with spatial perception, whether as an implication of virtual or physical realms. I am the artistic director of Orientale Sarda, a company is based in London with a strong bond to Europe, aiming to nourish cross-cultural connections and interdisciplinary approaches in process-making and among artists. Orientale Sarda’s intention is to maintain experimental practice and artistic research alive and kicking outside academia.
Additional* strong background in visual arts, and architecture history; professional training in ballet and butoh.
