Lyse is a London based theatre director specialising in multi-disciplinary arts, with a focus on new writing, adaptation and devised theatre. She has a particular interest in telling the stories of those with unheard voices and is drawn to telling the stories of working class experiences, women and the LGBT community. Lyse uses a variety of genres and forms to create visceral theatre, often using installation art as a way of creating an interactive set that informs the world of the play.
Originally Lyse trained as an actor, graduating from Drama St Mary's with a First Class Honours degree in 2020. Since then she realised that her passion was in directing and facilitating, and is now a student on LSBU's MA Creative Performance Practice where she is participating in residencies at The Lyric Hammersmith.
