Graig Russell is director and designer for theatre. After completing his Performing Arts Degree at Salford University, he lived in Japan for 10 years, designing lighting and directing for small-to-medium sized shows, ranging from Elizabethan drama to original devised pieces. His directing and devising work leans into the boundaries between the performative and non-performative, fiction and nonfiction, and, backed by his work in design, emphasis good aesthetics as key to excellent theatre.
