Ammar Haj Ahmad is an award-winning Syrian-British stage and screen actor, dramaturg, playwright, poet, facilitator, and director. A passion for people & storytelling is at the core of his craft.

His work in theatre spans from devising and supporting work in early development to touring the world in principle acting roles.

Ammar is interested in adapting & translating & reimagining films, books & plays for the stage. His directing work specializes in amplifying the nuances of the human experience - particularly familial relationships - by finding ways of integrating dance, strong visual elements, music, and magic.

He is an Associate Artist with imPOSSIBLE and is currently represented by Scott Marshall Partners.
