Olly Gully

Writer Theatremaker

Olly (he/him) is a writer and collaborative theatremaker, interested in creating consciously-theatrical work with a particular focus on exploring LGBTQIA+/queer themes and mental health.

Since starting his career as part of the Soho Theatre Young Company 2018/19, Olly's award-winning collaborative work has been performed internationally, including London, New York, across Europe, the UK and in Australia.

Having initially focused on dialogue-rich stage plays, his practice increasingly gears towards multidisciplinary, collaborative theatremaking; developing work that achieves its impact through the playful combination and contrast of text, visuals, sound and movement.
