I am a director-choreographer and theatre maker originally from Australia. I work predominantly in Music Theatre, but have experience in various theatre styles, and developing new work.
I recently completed Honours research looking at developing and enhancing movement narrative for the stage utilising Laban and Chekhov techniques. Although based in a music theatre degree, my thesis has broader applications from choreography through to movement direction.
New work across all forms of theatre is something that really excites me as a director. I've written and produced my own work previously, and have been part of several workshops for new theatre in Australia and London. I have a strong dramaturgical sense, and am also sensitive to the difficulties that can be present when developing new work.
I am looking to work on many facets of the London theatre scene. I usually like to utilize both my skills as a director-choreographer, but I am always happy and willing to collaborate solely as director or choreographer.
