Helena Coggan

author playwright director

I'm a novelist from London and have been writing fantasy books for young adults since I was fourteen. In the last couple of years I've been writing and directing for the stage, though a lot of my work has been stymied by COVID, and would love to use the network to get to know artists and find people to work with, since I've just graduated from university and moved to London. (She/her or they/them is fine.)

Credits

Novels: The Catalyst, 2015; The Reaction, 2016; The Orphanage of Gods, 2019; The Witchling's Girl, 2021; all Hodder and Stoughton.
Plays: Writer/Director, Voyager, one night in the Larkum Studio at the ADC Theatre, 2020; scheduled five-night runs as writer and director for Voyager (May 2020) and Minus Eight (October 2020) which did not go ahead. Have also written and am directing another play, Daylight, currently in rehearsals and finding venues.
