Sam Bettridge

Director

Sam (he/him) is a theatre maker, producer and practitioner, with specific interest in political theatre and community engagement. He emphasises creative collaboration and cohesion throughout all aspects of a theatrical production, and wishes to continuously explore the contextual politics of society when making work. Sam's original works often explore political issues through camp, farce performance which values entertainment and thought provocation equally.

On top of this, Sam is also an experienced creative producer, and has a unique and dynamic approach to planning, organising and producing large bodies of creative work in community based settings. Experienced in a variety of theatre settings, he has skill within administrative, coordinating roles as well as creative, practical roles.

An enthusasitic, dedicated professional, who strives to ensure all bodies of work are of the highest standard - bringining with him a unique, irreverant, fun (and often, queer) perspective on making theatre.
