I have been working as an actor for more than 25 years in France, my native country, where I trained with the Stanislavsky method, Antonin Artaud, and Jacques Coppeau heritage, as well as with physical approaches such as the Mask, and Clowning with Lecoq’s techniques.
I performed in more than 35 shows, classical texts, as well as contemporary playwrights working in Research Laboratories with dramaturgs such as Didier Georges Gabily and Christian Rist’s renowned French directors and playwrights.
The success of some productions I was involved in, with texts such as Marguerite Yourcenar, Soren Kierkegaard, Garcia Lorca, and Tirso de Molina, took me over several years on a national tour and Spain.
Alongside my acting career, I worked as an acting teacher directing many students' shows. I taught in many conservatories in France, leading drama departments and modules and continued in London, where I am now living.
I have been pursuing a director's career, which she kick-started by adapting Henry Bauchau's Antigone into a play she named "Et toi, Ismene" (What about you, Ismene) at the Cockpit Theatre.
I am currently Head of the year & Acting Tutor - Director for the CertHE acting students - foundation at Italia Conti. I am also finishing a master’s degree in “Actors trainer Actors Coach” at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where I discovered and continued exploring The Demidov School of Acting. I was associate director of the Demidov faculty to promote the work of the studio, and an actor in the Acting Lab for the last year.
I am still researching and implementing this approach of creative freedom as an actor for a personal project at Italia Conti.
Please, feel free to contact me if you need to discuss projects. I particularly wish to direct European projects.
