Richard trained at the Young Vic and the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. He is currently International Associate Director on Back To The Future The Musical and UK Associate Director on MJ The Musical West End.

Visiting Director at Mountview, Arts Educational and the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. He is a recipient of the Sir Paul McCartney Human Spirit Award.
