“I am a disruption”
I interrupt the overused recycled narratives that display poor representations of my community, specifically black females. Funnily enough, you’re reading the voice of one now. I would refer to myself as a storyteller in the forms of acting, scriptwriting, poetry and directing. My style evokes conversations by taking you on the journey of emotions without context. Not everyone has shared experiences but we all have emotions to relate to the feeling. Fresh out of the shackles of university, I am very close to my spiritual faith (Christianity).
