I am a migrant, neurodivergent, queer, London-based theatre director and producer originally from Seattle, WA, USA. I have trained and worked in multiple countries, including the United Kingdom, United States, and Russia.
I primarily enjoy devised pieces, new plays, and adaptations, though I spent the beginning of my career in Shakespeare and musical theatre. Most of the work I do is ensemble-based and highly collaborative. Lately, I've been foraying into audio pieces and multimedia and am interested in pursuing other forms of performance in addition to traditionally structured theatre.
I believe theatre is inherently political and prioritize work that uplifts and amplifies underrepresented voices without overriding them with my own. I am also the co-founder of Halfpace Theatre, a migrant-led company dedicated to new and devised work by underrepresented artists.
